1957 Harley Davidson flh panhead in Dallas, TX

1957 Harley Davidson flh panhead

Exceptional and HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE!!Offered for the first time. From front to rear, this beauty offers a look back over six decades. With unforced patina going back 57 years, this machine has a look and feel that cannot be rebuilt or restoredBike runs, shifts and starts easily. .We start with the power plant, the high compression FLH motor.,matching belly numbers, perfect serial numbers, this motor has likely never been apart. All evidence and history show this to be a virtually untouched bike, minus a few odds and ends. Most of the original CP-1038 bolts are in place, and machine has "the feel" of a bike that has never been apart.Although I cannot be sure, in the interest of being completely candid, it appears that the front fender may have been partially repainted, although certainly with HD color and probably over 50 years ago. I will post close ups of small area on fender. The oil tank is also original paint, with FLH decals and also original patent sticker behind center post on frame. Frame is original paint, and appears flawless with no scrapes underneath. Small pinstripe added by owner when Kennedy was president.Original one year BIG BERTHA saddlebags with Harley logo stamped in cover, rare crash guards for Big Bertha bags comes with bike. Dual exhaust with Buco fishtails. Owner installed 59 and later rear fender tip. Transmission original to bike.
