Controller for a well established small firm in Downtown Dallas. You will work directly with the owner who is hands on . You will get to use your process improvement skills to streamline the existing accounting department leaving you time for valuable analytical work needed by the owner. You will have great opportunities to effect change and work with appropriate outside parties to meet company needs and objectives. This gives them many opportunities for growth. Our ideal recruit is Bilingual in Spanish, has a min of fifteen years background as an accounting professional with a min of 3 in manufacturing. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all financial and management reporting are reliable and accurate,Supervise and mange accounting operations including financial reporting (General Ledger , Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management) and development of appropriate systems and controls that are required to manage and control a high energy, high growth organization.Work to resolve systems technology issues for improved operational effectiveness and efficienciesProvide technical leadership for all accounting and financial matters including appropriate policy research with respect to new FASB pronouncements, GAAP accounting rules/regulations and state regulatory qualifications. Initiate process improvement opportunities and approves and implements solutions. Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceFifteen years of background in Accounting/Finance; 3 Years in manufacturing Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus!
