Here is a detailed position details provided to Robert Half by the hedge fund Responsible for the payment disbursement function receiving invoices, reviewing for approval, accounting for accuracy, and processing on a weekly basis. The role will also handle reconciliations and journal entries for month end close. Assist accounting department team by gathering and analyzing financial data and assisting with budgeting and cash flow forecasting. Manage employee expense report process including reviewing required documentation, auditing against policy, obtaining appropriate approvals, ensuring accurate coding and creating journal entries. Create and maintain statistical drivers used to allocate expenses amongst company departments. Assist in the management of excess collateral through various money market funds. Perform various special projects within the Accounting Group as assigned. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Financial Consulting with a GPA of 3.4 or higher Excellent issue solving abilities must effectively grasp a situation and determine means to solving problems in an efficient manner Good communication abilities must have good people skills with the expertise to communicate with all levels of employees in a respectful, appropriate manner Strong work ethic must take pride in job performance at all levels, from attendance to final work product.
