Ibanez bass and amp combo in Dallas, TX

$550 Ibanez bass and amp combo

I'm selling this bass and amp as a package deal. I bought them to learn to play but that not ever going to happen.. the amp has only been tested to make sure it works and the bass only played with a few times as I tried to learn some stuff. So its all basically new. This also comes with bag, stand. Guitar center lifetime cord, and home study course that is really very good i could of learned to play form it if i actually applied myself but i don't have the discipline. Ibanex SR300 Bass Guitar Roadster Orange MetallicPro features for a starter priceThe SR300 4-string electric bass is priced like a beginner's instrument, but it has features that make it anything but a cut-rate starter axe. First off, it has a 5-piece SR4 maple/rosewood neck and light, agathis body with smooth rounded edges and a deep, lower cutaway for better access to the upper frets. The dual EXF-4 pickups and an upgraded 3-band Style Sweeper EQ deliver improved overall sound whether you're grooving on the low-end for some crunchy classic rock, or working the full fretboard for a more pop sound. Some review from online. Can't Beat ItAs reviewed by Paul Sabre on 1/26/2010I simply cannot figure out how Ibanez puts out a bass of this quality for such a low price. A little fiddling right out of the box got the action low and smooth. The shape of the neck makes playing effortless. The 3 band onboard eq dials in almost any sound you need without having to go back and fiddle with the amp. The Roadster Orange finish is so much better in person than in the photos, the active pickups sound wonderful, and, a boon to all us gigging musicians, it's light. I started playingbass in High School. I'm 51 now, and have owned almost every type of bass at one point or another. P bass, couple of Jazz Basses, Yamahas, Peaveys, A Gibson, couple other Ibanez's, and this is the one I'm sticking with. For years the Jazz Bass was my main stage axe, and I used to carry a phony Hofner as a backup. I'd usually pick it up somewhere in the second set to give my shoulder a break. I am seriously considering buying another one of these for my backup and leaving everything else at home. For us working class players who simply can't afford a Ric 4003 or the Alembic of their dreams, this bass will fill the bill. At this price, you simply can't go wrong. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . ...A Bass for anyoneAs reviewed by Sparky Hereticon 8/26/[removed phone]
