1998 Correct Craft Air Nautique Pro Boss GT-40 Boat

This boat is in incredibly good condition, but it?s not perfect. If you are looking for perfection, please do not bid. However, if you are looking for a VERY clean boat for it?s age, and one that has been well taken care of then you should seriously consider bidding. The pictures tell the entire story, but I will note all of its condition. As you will read in the history, we have always kept this boat covered when not in use. We found the boat cover tends to put a purplish tint onto the tops of the rear seat back and the tops of the bow seat back. We are not sure what is causing this, but once the cover is off the boat and you let the sun shine on the boat for a couple of hours this purplish tint disappears and it?s back to its brilliant white again. We also learned to put a sheet or some old towels between these areas and the cover. This helps. The rubber trim that goes around the entire boat is in great condition except for a spot at the tip of the bow. There?s some minor scratches in it, but it?s nothing major. This year as we approached the dock at our favorite lake we realized too late the rubber bumper on the particular section of dock we approached was missing. This caused the ?AIR? logo to get scratched a bit and it also caused about a 5 inch scratch into the black section of the port side. It?s deeper than a surface scratch, but deep enough to not be able to rub out. The rear compartment lid was attacked by cats at a local dealer while in for service (see pics). There is also two ½ sized cuts in the vinyl (see pics). These are the only two areas of damage in the vinyl. The rest of the vinyl is awesome. The carpet is very clean, no tears or cuts of any kind. The 4 blade prop was replaced toward the end of last season. The teak swim deck is in good shape. We have oiled it a few times. All of the instrumentation works except for the left speedo. This is because the pickup at the stern of the boat broke off. I just haven?t spent the few bucks to replace it. The trailer paint is oxidizing in some areas, but not too terribly bad. The trailer tires are in very good condition and they have a lot of tread and life left in them. The four main wood skids where the boat rests on the trailer were replaced last year with pressure treated wood and new outdoor carpet. The beam skid is still in good shape. There?s a little surface rust on the fender of the starbird side. Brakes are good as are the leaf springs. Oh yes, we had the kill switch replaced when we first purchased the boat.*** Features:Pro Boss GT-40 Ford/PCM engine with 310 horsepower with 640 hours. Plenty of power to pull big guys out of the water. The boat is very balanced and it turns on a dime. The boat has 5 storage compartments which has proven to be plenty of storage (glove box, bow, stern, beneath the love seat, in floor locker). Instrumentation includes, lake water temperature, depth indicator with alarm, ballast water level for right and left ballasts, two speedos, tachometer with hour meter, oil pressure, engine water temperature and check engine light. Fire extinguisher, anchor, buoy and anchor bungee rope. We are including the four orange life jackets that came with the boat. We are also including a brand new ski rope. It also has a stern light pole. There?s a Clarion Marine AM/FM/CD with the factory 5 speakers. The original wake board rack exists, and a beautiful bimini top showing the colors of the boat. 30 gallon fuel tank is under the rear seat; a perfect place to help produce a better wake when full. Total of 50 gallons of ballast capacity for producing better wakes. This is a great hull for skiers too. It has a 43 inch pylon for skiers and tubers. The board tower elevates above the boat floor by 80 inches. Rear view mirror. Computerized bilge pump, removable teak deck. Love seat extension can be placed between the driver and the love seat, or placed behind the driver, or removed completely. The manufacturer says the limited lifetime warranty is transferable, but I don?t know the details about this process.
